Tyson Foods Inc. is one of the worlds largest and leading processors, as well as marketers, of meats (pork, beef and chicken). It has its headquarters in Springdale, Arkansas.

Tyson Foods, Inc. was founded in 1935 by John Tyson. Tyson started his business by selling chickens to as far as Chicago, Illinois and Kansas City, Missouri. Soon after, Tyson progressed to supplying chicks that were hatched from his incubators and by the end of the 1930s, Tyson had progressed to dealing feed commercially for Ralston Purina.
